Urban Technology Network II (UTN II) is co-financed by the European Union’s INTERREG IIIB CADSES programme, which targets to initiate co-operation in the field of spatial development in the Central, Adriatic, Danubian and South-Eastern European Space (CADSES).

The central objective of UTN II is to strengthen the existing Urban Technology Network between European cities to improve and upgrade the development of urban technologies in Central Europe.

In detail the objectives of the project are:

• to support cities in the preparation of pilot co-operation projects for funding/search for private/public investors to enhance investment in urban services and infrastructure in order to establish a more balanced standard of living in the CADSES area cities
• to provide training to upgrade the technical and organisational know-how in provision and management of urban services
• to provide technical assistance to link cities with the need to upgrade their urban services to cities ready to transfer existing technical and management experience on a high level and to provide easy access to information to all network partners.

The project UTN II is the direct follow up of UTN Urban Technology Network under Interreg IIc.
